Some product links in Fishician — for example "Buy on Amazon" buttons in the Equipment Guide, Dosing Calculator, Treatment guides, and Aquarium Builder — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Fishician may earn a small commission from the retailer. This never changes the price you pay.

How products are chosen
Product recommendations are selected for fit with your tank setup (size, water type, livestock) based on published specifications and common hobbyist practice — not by which retailer pays a commission. Affiliate status does not affect ranking, dosing math, or compatibility results. We do not accept payment for placement in care recommendations.
Advertising
Fishician may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) on content pages. Advertising cookies load only after you consent via the cookie banner or Privacy Choices. Ads are labeled by the ad provider and are separate from Fishician's own recommendations. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising consent works and how to withdraw it.
No sponsorship of advice
AI health analyses, compatibility checks, and care guidance are independent of advertisers and affiliates. Where a treatment plan lists purchasable products, any affiliate relationship is disclosed alongside the link.
